BSH: Safety by Design: Real-World Planning for OST
Join us at the Beyond School Hours (BSH) Conference in Salon 12 from 9:45–11 a.m. EST for a fast‑paced, hands‑on session on proactive safety planning for Out‑of‑School Time programs. Learn practical strategies and tools to strengthen prevention and preparedness before emergencies occur.
Through a scenario‑based tabletop exercise, you’ll practice identifying risks, setting clear protocols, and integrating safety measures into daily operations. Leave with actionable steps to build a strong safety plan, improve communication systems, and boost program‑wide readiness and resilience.

BSH: Literacy Unlocked: Level Up Your Content
Join us at the Beyond School Hours (BSH) Conference in Salon 3 from 9:45–11 a.m. EST for our Literacy Unlocked: A Quest to Level Up Your Enrichment Content! session. Ditch the worksheets and jump into the game! Join us for an interactive quest where literacy becomes the ultimate cheat code powering everything your students love—from sports and STEM to content creation and self‑care. Using our Intentional Activity Design framework, you’ll rotate through hands‑on “content zones” to see how literacy strengthens your most popular activities. You’ll leave with fresh ideas and an Intentional Activity Design Planner to help your students level up their skills.
